CLASSES

Payment is due with registration.  Unpaid class registrations will not guarantee a place in the class.  Classes may be cancelled if paid enrollment is low.

If a class must be cancelled by the instructor or the school, we will refund your tuition.  If we cancel a single day of a series of classes, we will refund the prorated amount  of the class, after any processing fees and materials costs, unless the class had a previously published snow day or make-up day.  If you paid with a credit card within 90 days, we will refund the money to your card.  If payment was made more than 90 days before the cancellation or if payment was made with cash or check we will refund the money via check within 30 days.  Please provide a mailing address or pick up the check at the reception desk within 90 days.

Students may cancel registrations by notifying us a minimum of 3 days before the workshop or series begins in order to receive a full refund.  Call or stop by during open hours or email us at info@wallkill.art.  Cancellations made fewer than 3 days will receive a 50% refund.  We are unable to refund same day cancellations.  If you are unable to attend any classes out of a series of classes we cannot refund your tuition.  You may inquire with your teacher about making up the day.  Teachers sometimes offer make-up days as a courtesy, however they are not required or always available.

Unused tuition is considered a charitable contribution to our nonprofit 501(c)(3) programs to the extent allowed by law, and helps us pay for our free programs for seniors, veterans, teens and scholarships for children.  Thank you for supporting our nonprofit!

ARTWORK and COMMISSIONED ITEMS

Artwork, including fine art prints, notecards, unframed artwork, and crafts, purchased online will be held at Wallkill River School for pick-up unless the art shipping and handling option is available and paid for.  Artwork will be wrapped or shipped after the exhibit has been uninstalled at the end of the published exhibit dates.  We pay our artists promptly at the end of exhibits, so artwork purchases can only be refunded within 10 days of the work being picked-up or delivered to the customer.  Artwork must be returned to receive a refund. Artwork which is damaged during shipping to the customer will be refunded once it is returned or the damage is properly documented.

GALLERY MERCHANDISE

General gallery merchandise, which is not on commission from an artist, may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates may be redeemed for tuition to classes or for membership within 365 days of purchase.  Gift certificates are not refundable or redeemable for cash.
