Plants, trees, leaves, vegetables, fruits, flowers, birds, bugs, fish, land, water, and clouds… It’s all nature! Here’s a few ideas of what I’d like to create with you: Shadow drawings of leaves and branches, drawings of the inside of vegetables, making a botanical illustration booklet, painting a still-life of fruits on canvas, drawing insects in pen and paint, and making collage gardens… to mention a few! We’ll be using paints, glue, scissors, and more.
All materials provided!
I am an experienced K-12 art teacher of 28 years. I also substituted 12.5 years for art teachers K-12 in Pine Bush and Valley Central Schools, plus 3 years teaching summer art classes at WRCA! Creating my own paintings and teaching art is a lifelong passion for me. I share this joy and knowledge with the students, and they feel the creative energy with me!
