HANGING STANDARDS FOR HANGING ITEMS:  Work must be ready to hang with a HANGING WIRE ONLY (no dogtooth or other styles).  The wire must be attached to the frame/piece in the top third of the frame/piece (wires close to the center point will cause the frame to hang forward, away from the wall) and the highest point the wire can reach must be a minimum of  3/4 inch from the top of the frame/piece (otherwise the wall hook will show).  Works that are meant to be vertical must feature a frame or other item on the back or top of the object to hang it. Frames, if used, must be clean and in good repair.  If works cannot hang acceptably, they will not be included in the exhibit. If you need help on how we hang framed works usually, please visit this link.
