Cost: $135 per student
Animation is the art of bringing your drawings to life! Whether you’re interested in traditional animation, game animation, anime, 3D animation, or just want to make your doodles move around with style, this class is for you. Students will learn about the principles of animation, and how to apply their knowledge in creative ways. They’ll see how observing the natural world can bring their animation skills to the next level. And most importantly, it’s gonna be a lot of fun!
There is a set of tablets available for class use.
If you wish for your child to use their own, please see the following list:
Materials needed:
– iPad or other similar drawing tablet
– Stylus (optional but VERY helpful)
Software needed:
– Animation App such as: Procreate, Flipaclip, etc.
Aedan Ciganek is an up-and-coming animator from the Hudson Valley. He has a passion for 2D animation, cartooning, and character design. Since 2014 he’s been honing his craft, and loves encouraging others to enter the world of animation.
