For Intermediate Watercolorists
Demonstrations of a variety of Christmas cards in Watercolor. Paint along with Alan Lewis to find the best card for you to make more of at home. Use our paper cutters to make your cards fit standardized size envelopes.
Alan Lewis has been painting in watercolor since 2013, and usually paints every day. His subjects vary from portraits to pets to landscapes, and he enjoys painting plein air whenever possible. His paintings are looser and more impressionistic, rather than highly detailed, and he has been most significantly influenced by the watercolor master Alvaro Castagnet. A member of the Wallkill River School, Goshen Art League, Lower Hudson Valley Plein Air Painters, and Northeast Watercolor, he has also recently been awarded for art done with the Friends of the Great Swamp.
Students will bring their own supplies including watercolor paper and envelopes of their preferred size.
