Learn how to crochet and make beautiful yarn goods from someone who has been crocheting for over 50 years. Start with making a chain and learning the single crochet stitch. This simple stitch is great for your first project of making a scarf. After this is mastered, other stitches will be added (double and triple crochet) plus ways to combine them for fancier designs. Classes will be modified according to the students’ desires. Reading patterns will also be explored. If interest continues, an intermediate and advanced class may be offered. Please bring a skein of yarn (size 4) and a crochet hook (size I or J). Instructor will bring examples of other yarns and hooks, plus some potential project ideas.
Materials List:
- 1 Skein of Yarn size 4
- Crochet Hook size I or J
