Fluid Painting with Margaret Grasso

Grades 6-12
This class is all about loose, flowing paints, starting with no preconceived ideas or drawing. We will be using watercolor paints, colored water-based inks, Hi-flow & Fluid Acrylics, a variety of brushes, scrapers, pipets, and pens.
We’ll be working intuitively, letting the medium show us what it can do, then you decide what you want to do after that; draw over when its dry, leave it, use pen, doodle random lines, etc. So, come join us & “Go with the flow!”
I am an experienced K-12 art teacher of 28 years. I also substituted 12.5 years for art teachers K-12 in Pine Bush and Valley Central Schools, plus 3 years teaching summer art classes at WRCA! Creating my own paintings and teaching art is a lifelong passion for me. I share this joy and knowledge with the students, and they feel the creative energy with me!
