EVENT DATE: September 1, 2024
LOCATION: Hudson Sports Complex, 122 State School Rd, Warwick, NY 10990 (at Wickham Woodlands)
TIME: Public hours 10am-6pm or adjusted based on registration.
FEE: There is no fee to participate as an artist
REGISTRATION OPTIONS: Artists may request 10’x10′ plot, and/or up to 30 minutes of stage time.
ELIGIBILITY: Artists of all media are encouraged to register. All participants, including groups, organizations, teams, and individuals are eligible. Minors may participate with an adult chaperone. (see details below)
SELECTION: There is no selection process. All registrants will be accepted who indicate they live, work, or play in Orange County NY.
IMPORTANT: All goods and performances must be the sole property of the registering artists. Use of work belonging to another artist, maker, or creator for display or sale is prohibited. This includes use of songs for performance including background music and covers.
NOTE: Artists who wish to request participation that does not fit within the parameters of a 10’x10′ space, or a 30 minute stage time slot including food trucks, art installations, artists in need of power, long-form performance, or other creative expressions are encouraged to inquire with connect@ocartscouncil.org to determine feasibility.
P A R T I C I P A T I O N I N F O R M A T I O N
In order to participate in the OCLive! Event, all artists will be required to sign a letter of agreement to be distributed at a later date. Registration here implies no obligation by artist or OCAC. All artists must maintain a family-friendly atmosphere. Any participation that is deemed inappropriate for family audiences may be removed at the sole discretion of OCAC or its representatives.
DETAILS ON 10ft by 10ft SPACE REGISTRATION: Artist is responsible for all dealings associated with their space. Artists may bring pop up tent, furniture, signage etc. which must remain within their allotted space. No materials will be provided. Artists may sell goods, offer giveaways, etc. but are responsible for their own dealings including necessary certifications, permits, licenses, etc. No power or wifi will be available.
DETAILS ON 30 Minute STAGE TIME REGISTRATION: A stage and basic sound system will be available. Artist will be given 30 minutes of stage time which will include any set up and break down required. OCAC or its representatives reserve the right to end a set that risks going over the allotted time. Artists may bring additional equipment for their use assuming set up remains in allotted time. More details will be released on tech specifications prior to the event.
Artists under the age of 18 must have an adult 18 or older present at booth or stage at all times. Registrant maintains responsibly for all members of their party. OCAC reserves the right to limit number of associated personnel including chaperones.
