 Call for entries

In addition to her solo show Reaching Across, Lambers will serve as juror for BONTANICAL OBSERVATIONS, an exhibition featuring botanical inspired artworks which will be on view concurrently in the Patchett Gallery; all mediums welcome.

 

Exhibition Dates

  • Submission deadline: April 20, 2026
  • Acceptance Notification: April 30, 2026
  • Drop-off deadline: by May 10th
  • Exhibition dates: May 16 – June 21, 2026
  • Opening Reception: Saturday, May 16th, 5 – 7 pm
  • Pick-up of artwork: starts June 21st

 

Entry Instructions

  • Only original artwork will be considered. NO digital reproductions, digital with hand manipulation, or AI generated images will be considered.
  • Submissions are by digital images ONLY through EntryThingy.
    Images should be standard color jpeg (min. image width 1,000 pixels)
  • Size: 2D works may not exceed 40 inches high by 30 inches wide ( 40 x 30 in.); 3D works may not exceed 24 inches high by 14 inches wide in any direction (24 x 14 in.).
  • Work must be submitted by the artist, and not previously exhibited at WRCA.

 

About the Juror

Janine Lambers is a German born artist working from her studio in Beacon, NY. Trained under the auspices of the German Guild Academy, she graduated as a gilder. During the course of her career, with a deep reverence and understanding of her craft, she started to create her own works of art. Lambers exhibits her work internationally and has received numerous commissions including site-specific works such as an 18ft gilded wall mural for a private super yacht.
