Juror Marlene Lipinski’s thoughts:
“I was impressed by the works and could have selected many more for this show. A wide variety of media was in the art work and I tried to reflect that in my choices. The forest experience can be wide and varied. I enjoyed that many aspects of the forest were included in the work. Examples of water in many stages, light, tree species, density verses open areas. One can be in the woods or observe it from afar. Both of these perspectives were present. Strong skills were displayed in the art including composition, development of form, rending when applicable, use of color and light and aerial perspective.”
