To reserve your seat\, register by purchasing a FREE ticket – at bottom of event page. \n  \n_______________ \n\n\nAbout the performers:\n  \nNEIL “NAIL” ALEXANDER \nProlific master pianist\, synthesist\, keyboardist and composer Neil “Nail” Alexander has had a career spanning more than 4 decades. \nHe remains passionately involved in multiple performance and production projects – including NAIL\, Cloudburst\, Mr. Gone\, X Ensemble\, Supercluster – across multiple genres – including jazz\, rock\, funk\, blues\, electronica\, ambient and contemporary chamber music. Neil has toured worldwide across the US\, Mexico\, Canada and Europe. \nNeil has been involved with Modern Dance Choreographers for 40 years\, teaches master classes in electronic music production and heads the Ableton Hudson Valley User Group. In 2015 Neil was awarded Individual Artist of the Year by the Orange County Arts Council and is endorsed by Moog Music. \nHe has worked with The Mahavishnu Project\, Rez Abasi\, Judi Silvano\, Gunter Hampel\, Joe Lovano\, Marty Balin\, Corey Glover\, and more. \nRecent recordings include “Check Your Vibration”(Nail Jung)\, “Solos/Duos/Trios”(Neil Alexander)\, a solo piano performance of the “Rite of Spring”(2013)\, and NAIL Live at the Blue Note\, NYC. \n  \nCRAIG CHIN \nERRANT SPACE – AMBIENT SOUNDSCAPES is a project of composer/recordist Craig Chin. Its goal is spatio-temporal dilation through sound. Performances are site-specific\, spontaneous compositions influenced by both the physical characteristics of the space they are performed in and the occupants of that space. \nCraig creates soundscapes that are simultaneously unobtrusive and interesting\, creating an atmosphere where the environment and audience are enveloped in a sort of subliminal soundscape. \nBrian Eno coined the term Ambient Music in the 1970’s\, defining it as music that “must be able to accommodate many levels of listening attention without enforcing one in particular; it must be as ignorable as it is interesting.” This is the essence of the Errant Space philosophy. \nCraig produces the monthly Errant Space Podcast featuring experimental and electronic musicians and curates several music series\, including a monthly electronic and experimental night and the Space Out\, Outside series. He also has a weekly radio show\, The Space Program\, on Vassar College’s Station WVKR. \n  \n  \nADAM HOLQUIST \nONEWAYNESS – podcast focused on the arts\, politics\, and current events – is Adam Holquist\, a composer\, musician\, sound designer\, and multimedia creator from Erie\, Pennsylvania. \nHe uses guitars\, pianos\, analog and digital synthesis\, spoken word and field recordings\, and a variety of hardware and software tools to create atmospheric and textural music which draws influence from a variety of sources. \nSince 2011\, he has given hundreds of live performances and released over 40 albums and EP’s. His work has been featured on both terrestrial and streaming radio stations\, charted on Zone Music Reporter’s weekly Top 100 ambient music airplay charts\, and reviewed by publications in the US and abroad. \nAdam has created original music and sound design for theatre\, independent films\, art installations and also serves as curator of the ElectroFLUX Experimental Music Series\, presenting creative music from local to international artists. \n  \n\n\n_______________ \n  \nWRCA’s 2026 concert series has been made possible thanks to the following: \n  \n \n  \n \n \n \n \n \nWallkill River Center for the Arts programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

To reserve your seat\, register by purchasing a FREE ticket – at bottom of event page. \n  \n_______________ \n\n\nAbout the performer:\n Bobby Sanabria\, a graduate of the Berklee College of Music\, is an accomplished drummer\, percussionist\, composer\, arranger\, documentary film producer\, activist\, radio host\, writer and multi-Grammy nominee. He is a native Nuyorican son of the South Bronx. \nSanabria’s versatility as both a drummer and percussionist from small group to big band has become legendary. He’s performed and recorded with every major figure in the history of Latin jazz\, salsa\, and jazz\, with such legends as Dizzy Gillespie\, Tito Puente\, Mongo Santamaria\, Eddie Palmieri\, Paquito D’Rivera\, Candido\, Charles McPherson\, Larry Harlow\, Ruben Blades\, Celia Cruz\, and the Father of Afro-Cuban jazz\, Mario Bauzá (as his drummer for 9 years touring and recording on his major Grammy nominated albums). \nSanabria is the Leader of Quarteto Aché\, Sexteto Ibiano\, Ascensión\, and his Multiverse Big Band. His big band albums have all been nominated for Grammys\, most notably Multiverse (double Grammy nominated 2012) and recently West Side Story Reimagined\, a two CD set recorded live at Dizzy’s\, NYC which was awarded the Jazz Journalists Record of the Year Award (2019) and hailed as a masterpiece by the Wall Street Journal. \nHe has composed music for award winning documentaries From Mambo to Hip Hop: A South Bronx Tale (2006) and La Madrina: The Savage Life of Lorine Padilla (2020)\, also appearing in The Palladium: Where Mambo Was King (2003)\, Latin Music USA (2006)\, We Like It Like That: The Story of Latin Boogaloo (2015) and Let’s Get The Rhythm (2016).  \n\nNUMEROUS AWARDS include: \nDRUM! Host of the Latin Jazz Cruise by leading jazz radio station WBGO FM \nHis Lifelong commitment to Educating a New Generation of players\, composers\, arrangers has no parallel.  \n  \nRECENT WORKS:  \nHis latest critically acclaimed double CD with his Multiverse Big Band\, VOX HUMANA\, recorded live at Dizzy’s\, NYC\, features vocalists Janis Siegel\, Antoinette Montague and Jennifer Jade Ledesna and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Latin Jazz recording (2024).  \nHis current CD project ARSENIO AND BEYOND\, recorded live at the Bronx Music Hall with his Multiverse Big Band (released 2026) honors Arsenio Rodriguez\, the true “Father of Mambo”. \n\n____________ \nAbout the concert location:   \n\nGoshen Green Farm ‘committed to building community through food\, art and education’\, has hosted many events with the WRCA in the past 10 years for which we are grateful. \nThis a family-owned farm specializes in pesticide free\, biodynamic\, and permaculture growing techniques\, without the use of chemicals or GMOs. To reserve your seat\, register by purchasing a FREE ticket – at bottom of event page. \n  \n\n____________ \nAbout the performers:   \n \n  \nDANIEL PIMENTEL – Guitarist and Composer \nDaniel began playing guitar at the age of 12 in Jalisco and later received formal training with maestro Fernando Martínez Peralta in 1999.  In Spain\, he studied in 2001\, 2002\, and 2006 with notable masters such as Manolo Sanlúcar\, José Antonio Rodríguez\, Manolo Franco\, Paco Serrano\, Gerardo Núñez\, El Entri\, Pedro Sierra\, José Luis Rodríguez\, Juan Carlos Romero\, and Antonio Rey. \nThroughout his career\, he has trained in various styles of music including jazz\, classical\, and Mexican. \n  \nCOMPOSITIONS \nFor Flamencos Unidos company of the teacher and singer Lucero Hernández\, Daniel wrote and played a tribute to Federico García Lorca\, El Cristo Andaluz\, Bodas de Sangre\, and “Gitanos en persecusión”.  \nHe has also toured and performed with companies such as María Elena Ayala\, El Club España directed by La Morris\, Marién Luévano\, Caña y Candela of Lourdes Lecona and Lina Ravines\, 1 Compás por México directed by Erika Suárez\, among others. \nDISCOGRAPHY – Recordings: \nAires de flamenco (2002)\, La primer gota de lluvia ( 2003)\,  Lléname de ti ( 2006)\,  Gitana (2007)\, Mi mundo Mi sentir (2009)\,  A mi aire (2010)\, Sentimiento Flamenco (2017) \nCOLABORATIONS WITH ARTISTS \nFlamenco artists such as Karen Lugo\, Marién Luévano\, Karime Amaya\, Joe Lovano\, María Elena Anaya\, La Morris\, Sabas Santos\, Lucero Hernández\, Fernando Martínez\, Las Cabales de Guadalajara\, Fernando Soto\, María Juncal\, José Maya\, Juañares\, Antonio Rey\, Leo y Juan Treviño\, Erika Suarez\, among many others; as well as artists from other musical genres such as Juan Gabriel and María José. \nJazz Collaborations in the USA: Daniel began to collaborate with Judi Silvano in her “Flamenco Meets Jazz” double-trio concert at the Newburgh Free Library in 2015.   Then in 2019\, they joined forces again for a special concert at The Falcon in Marlboro NY with Judi Silvano and Joe Lovano’s Quintet\, featuring original compositions and the music of Paco Lucia\, Miles Davis and Jazz improvisations. \n  \nPLACES WHERE HE HAS PERFORMED (As a soloist or accompanied) \nIn México: Palacio de Bellas Artes\, Auditorio Nacional\, Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris\, Sala Miguel Covarrubias\, Teatro Degollado de Guadalajara\, Teatro Ricardo Castro de Durango\, and in cities like Monterrey\, Tampico\, Pachuca\, Mazatlán\, Aguascalientes\, León\, Guanajuato\, Veracruz\, Puebla\, Paracho\, Acapulco\, etc.  \nTours:  New York City\, Hudson River Valley of NY\, Chicago\, in South America: Quito\, Ecuador\, in Europe: Luxemburg and in Spain: Madrid\, Toledo\, and Gandía. \n  \nNATALIA DE ARAGON – Flamenco Dancer and Cajon \nNatalia graduated from the National School of Dance “Nellie y Gloria Campobello” of the National Institute of Fine Arts. She received her training from renowned dance masters in Mexico such as María Elena Anaya\, Gabriel Blanco\, Silvia Martín\, Paloma Macías\, and Olinka Trueba\, among others.  \nAfter completing her studies at the institution\, she was invited to join the teaching staff\, where she taught Stylized Dance and Stage Practices to students of the Bachelor of Spanish Dance program at the National School of Dance. \nThroughout her training\, she has taken various courses in both Spanish dance and flamenco with distinguished masters including Guadalupe Gómez (principal dancer at the Madrid Conservatory)\, “La Choni”\, Manuel Reyes\, Mariano Bernal\, Ángeles Gabaldón\, Daniel Doña\, Ana Lopéz\, “La Truco”\, and Antonio Rodríguez “El Chupete”\, among others.  \nIn 2012\, she attended a course at the Cristina Heeren Foundation in Seville\, Spain\, where she studied “bata de cola” and mantón with teacher Milagros Menjibar\, and technique with Maribel Ramos. \nNatalia is an accomplished Dancer and Actress who has cultivated the theatrical presentation of the passionate and historical artform that is Flamenco dance. \n  \n  \nALFONSO CID – Flamenco Singer and Flute \nHis mother and grandfather were his earliest influences. He attended classes at the prestigious Torres-Macarena Flamenco social club in Seville starting in 1987.  \nAlfonso also studied solfege singing and flute at the Seville Music Conservatory and was awarded two scholarships to study at the Cristina Heeren Foundation for Flamenco Art in Seville\, Spain.  \n  \nHe has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall\, Lincoln Center Out of Doors\, Town Hall\, London’s Royal Albert Hall\, Sala Covarrubias in Mexico City.
