SUMMARY:2026 Artist-Member Exhibits (Hallway Gallery)
DESCRIPTION:A benefit of membership\, WRCA Artist-level Members are invited to hang one piece (two dependent on space) in our changing Hallway Gallery Exhibits. \n  \nEXHIBITION GUIDELINES \nArtist-level membership (in good standing.) Not a member but want to participate? JOIN TODAY \nArtwork must be no larger than 16 x 16 inches (including the frame)\, properly framed\, and be ready to hang with a wire. DESCRIPTION:Keep It Together\nA Regional Exhibition Featuring Assemblage-based Artwork\nJuried by Elizabeth Keithline \n  \nPROSPECTUS \nSubmissions due: July 23\, 2026 \n  \n Call for entries \nIn addition to her solo show Puzzle\, Keithline will jury a companion exhibition in WRCA’s main galleries titled Keep It Together\, featuring assemblage-based artwork that conveys a material and conceptual sense of solving and/or coping. \n  \nExhibition Dates \n\nSubmission deadline: July 23\, 2026\nAcceptance Notification: August 3\nDrop-off deadline: August 16\nExhibition dates: August 22 – September 27\, 2026\nOpening Reception: Saturday\, August 22\, 5 – 7 pm\nPick-up of artwork: starts October 2\n\n  \nEntry Instructions \n\nOnly original artwork will be considered. NO digital reproductions\, digital with hand manipulation\, or AI generated images will be considered.\nSubmissions are by digital images ONLY through EntryThingy.\nImages should be standard color jpeg (min. image width 1\,000 pixels)\nSize: 2D works may not exceed 40 inches high by 30 inches wide ( 40 x 30 in.); 3D works may not exceed 24 inches high by 14 inches wide in any direction (24 x 14 in.).\nWork must be submitted by the artist\, and not previously exhibited at WRCA.\n\n  \nAbout the Juror \nArtist and arts administrator Elizabeth Keithline’s work focuses on human self-extension and human systems of all kinds – architecture\, technology\, cars\, the modern built environment – particularly as those systems tie to the natural world. \nShe has shown widely in the United States including solo shows at ChaShaMa NYC\, Governors Island NY\, the Peabody Essex Museum\, the Danforth Museum\, the Newport Art Museum\, Jane Street Art Center\, the Waiting Room in New Orleans\, Blue Star Contemporary in San Antonio\, ArtPrize Grand Rapids\, Real Art Ways in Hartford\, and UMass Amherst.
