DESCRIPTION:WRCA CONCERTS: The Arthur Patchett Memorial Music Series features four to six concerts per year with an emphasis on original compositions\, novel arrangements\, and mixed discipline creativity. DESCRIPTION:PROSPECTUS\nWATERCOLOR\, A Regional Exhibition Juried by Betsy Jacaruso\, on view October 31 – December 21\, 2025 \n\nCALL FOR ARTWORK: \nThis regional exhibition\, juried by Betsy Jacaruso\, is open to the medium of watercolor. Medium is the only constraint; artwork can range from realism to pure abstraction\, and subject matter is open. This exhibition does not encompass other water-based mediums such as acrylic and gouache\, only traditional transparent watercolors. Mixed media is acceptable as long as watercolor is clearly a major component of the work. \n\nAbout the Juror: Betsy Jacaruso is an award-winning watercolorist and a long-standing member of the Hudson Valley’s art community. Widely exhibited throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond\, she also curates’ exhibitions and teaches watercolor at her Rhinebeck gallery and studio. \n  \nExhibition dates: \n\nSubmission Deadline: Friday\, October 3\, 2025 –  APPLY HERE\nAcceptance Notification: Monday\, October 13\, 2025 \nDrop-off Deadline (hand delivery only): Sunday\, October 26\, by 5 pm\nExhibition Dates: October 31 – December 21\, 2025\nArtist Reception: Saturday\, November 1\, 3 – 5 pm\n\n\nApplication Fee: $25 for up to 4 pieces (waived for WRCA Artist Members with a coupon code.) \nPrizes: $100 Best in Show; Honorable Mentions receive WRCA Artist-Membership. \n\nEntry Instructions: \n\nThis exhibition is a regional call\, open to artists 18 years of age or older living in the tristate area of NY\, NJ\, CT. \nOnly original artwork will be considered.
