DESCRIPTION:THEME & GUIDELINES: All current and renewing 2025 Members may join this exhibit. There is no set theme. \nDATES: \n\nDrop-off by: Sunday\, January 26\, 2025\nOn display Jan. 31st – March 9th 2025\nReception: Saturday Feb. 8\, 2025 3:00-5:00 PM\nPick-up Starts: Friday\, March 10\, 2025 12:00 PM\n\nAPPLICATION PROCESS: \n\nThere is no fee to apply. All works are automatically accepted.\nMax of 1 submission per current 2025 Member.\nMaximum size 24″ x 20″ (framed size). Please do not bring oversized works\, we want everyone to have space to have something up.\nPlease sign your work in when dropping off and fill out a card.\n\nALL WORKS:  Work must be delivered to WRCA no later than Sunday\, January 26th \nHANGING STANDARDS FOR HANGING ITEMS:  Work must be ready to hang with a HANGING WIRE ONLY (no dogtooth or other styles).  The wire must be attached to the frame/piece in the top third of the frame/piece (wires close to the center point will cause the frame to hang forward\, away from the wall) and the highest point the wire can reach must be a minimum of  3/4 inch from the top of the frame/piece (otherwise the wall hook will show).  Works that are meant to be vertical must feature a frame or other item on the back or top of the object to hang it. Frames\, if used\, must be clean and in good repair.  If works cannot hang acceptably\, they will not be included in the exhibit. If you need help on how we hang framed works usually\, please visit this link. \nEXHIBIT TERMS: \n\nSee Exhibiting Artist Policies for complete information: 2025 Exhibiting Artist Policies\nWallkill River Center for the Arts will take a 30% commission on all art sales.\nThe artist can pick up a check for 70% of the sale price within 30 days of show closing.\nSold work will remain on display until the show closes.\nThe artist agrees to exhibit these works and holds harmless the volunteers and staff of WRCA.\nAny damage incurred\, such as broken glass or wires giving way\, is the responsibility of the artist to fix.\nThe artist agrees to pick-up unsold works in a timely manner. The Wallkill River Center for the Arts is not responsible for any paintings left in the gallery 30 days after the exhibit closes.
