Location: Wallkill River Center for the Arts Gallery
Cost: $135 per student
We will use different references to guide our drawing (how to draw pages, books, photos and pictures and small plastic animal forms). A variety of art supplies used will create unique techniques including pencils, black sharpie markers, sumi-ink and bamboo pens, watercolors, acrylic paints brushes, texture tools, gel sticks, colored markers and colored pencils.
Projects will be scaled up or down according to student’s age and ability level.
All materials will be provided!
Margaret Grasso is a retired k-12 art teacher and artist who works in watercolor, acrylics and colored inks among other media. She has 28 years experience working with children & teens and an additional 12 ½ years substituting in the local schools. She has been working with the Wallkill River Center for the Arts for several years teaching Summer Art Programs and After School Art Programs. “Creating art is a lifetime passion and experimenting and learning new things brings me happiness. Sharing it with others is what I enjoy doing most.”
