Join me with the medium of your choice and start or continue your adventure in Plein Air. I have been plein air painting for   over twenty years preserving the views of the landscapes I have experienced both locally and throughout the United States. My classes focus on observation, interpretation  and the elements of principles of design.  I work in pastels but any medium is welcome.  We will be painting from 1pm-4pm on the following dates.  This workshop is for all levels.

Laura Martinez-Bianco has spent her life in the Hudson Valley and has always appreciated and valued the beauty of it’s landscape. Her paintings are inspired by her surroundings, whether at home or abroad. After receiving her degree in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz, she continued to study painting with local artists in the Hudson Valley.

Laura has taught and hosted painting workshops in Italy and Cape Cod. Workshops provide her with an opportunity to paint and to teach others the Plein Air experience. Her work spans a variety of medium including pastel, oil and printmaking; recently focusing on encaustics. Her work is in private collections throughout the US, Italy and Denmark. Her work has been exhibited in Regional and National Exhibits while receiving numerous awards.
